The Dragon's Heart Pact is an ancient form of magic which is given life by the Dragons themselves. This magic originates in the form of Soul Matter, otherwise known as the essence of the very soul of the Dragon whom is making use of the magic. When this magic is presented to another mortal being, that mortal becomes bonded to the Dragon. Their hearts literally beat as one, and if one dies, so too must the other. This bond is the strongest form of magic in the world and cannot be broken under any circumstances... At least, none that any know to exist as of yet.

To engage in the Dragon's Heart Pact, the Dragon must become familiar with the mortal they intend to bond with. When they have gained a strong level of trust in the individual, they will stand on their hind legs and expose their chest to this individual. They will then rip the scales from their chest away and carve open their very flesh with their claws until their beating heart becomes visible. At that time, the Dragon will chant in the ancient tongue of the Dragons and unleash their power towards the skies in the form of their powerful breath as the magic begins to take hold. A dark, purple hued light will descend around the two as the Dragon continues to chant in its ancient tongue and envelope the two beings until a large, tornado-like effect takes hold. The two will then be lifted into the air and their hearts will sync with one another, forming the bond.

The ancient chant translates, roughly, to this:

"O mighty creators above, heed my call!
Bestow your blessings upon this body, and bind our hearts as one!
I surrender my soul to this child of Earth, and forever bind my heart to his/hers!
With this Pact, I hereby make this command of you!
Forever in life, and forever in death, we shall walk this world as one!
Forever in life, and forever in death...

(Dragon opens their mouth and breathes their soul matter into the individual)

My Heart now belongs to you!"

Every Dragon knows, inherently, this ancient Pact and can enact it at any time of their choosing. However, due to the history of Gods and mortals, the Dragons have almost never done this. There have been a few instances in the ancient past of this Pact occurring, but to this day the number remains in the single digits across the twenty thousand year history of Eden.

Please take note that there are some Dragons which will not be available for the Dragon's Heart Pact, and while everyone will eventually be able to acquire a Dragon, not all Dragons are going to be accessible. So here's the list of those Dragons which cannot be acquired during the RP:
