Not even those sequestered in the Big Brother house are immune to Harry Potter fever, what with it being Harry Potter Week and all thanks to the Friday release of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2. As seen on the show's live feed, veteran Jeff and newcomer Kalia recently got into it over J.K. Rowling's years-old revelation that Dumbledore was gay.
Incredulous at the idea, Jeff reasons (or attempts to), "He's in a school with little kids, you can't make that guy gay ... It isn't right to have it in a little kids' book, and have the headmaster locked away in this magical land, be gay. That isn't the right kind of writing to do." When Kalia pushes back, Jeff says that she's being PC and saying "the right answer for f---ing TV."

Jeff never gets around to explaining his rationale. I have two theories for why: 1) Ignorance and inarticulateness make great bedfellows, and 2) His implication that all gay people are pedophiles and cannot be trusted around children is too heinous for even a strident homophobe to verbalize ? at least on TV. You may recall that during Season 11, Jeff peppered his speech with anti-gay sentiment. At least he didn't use any slurs this time!
