oneatatime Heisman Candidate ? Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 3,477	Is it true the Gators were last in the NCAA in... number of offensive plays run? Not sure the source, but it makes sense given that many of our TDs were scored on big gainers on runs (demps and rainey) and receptions (Debose) and returns. This suggests why teams were not kicking or punting the ball to us, later in the season, seeing how poor we were offensively at sustaining drives.

ces1948 All American ? ? Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 1,875	It was a poor offense period. I also read something about lack of big plays so I'm not sure if the OP was on target when they attributed the lack of plays run to long gainers.
